1. Discovering Dinotopia
Designed to generate awareness and interest among younger viewers in ABC's "Dinotopia". Hosting the program from Dinotopia and using footage from the series, David Scott leads viewers through the visual detail, history, culture, and everyday happenings of Dinotopia. Dinotopia is treated as an absolutely real place. Zippo, noted saurian scholar and librarian, also periodically joins the program as the host of 15 to 30-second "Dino-Newsbreaks". During these sudden breaks in the show, Zippo brings us stories from all parts of Dinotopia.

Witness From Dinotopia is a half-hour special designed to generate awareness and high interest in ABC's six-hour mega-series event: Dinotopia, premiering Sunday May 12, 2002 AD. This unique half-hour special generates mystery and intrigue as it offers glimpses of the amazing world of Dinotopia. "Witness" is based on an interview between a print journalist and a curious young man who was recently picked up at sea, and who claims to have spent years on an incredible lost island called Dinotopia.
